Each December 10 of the Muslim Calendar

Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and regions inhabited by the Uygur Hui, Kazak and other ethnic minorities.

Main activities: Corban is the Arabian pronunciation meaning "sacrifice" or "blood offering". On thins festive day, Muslims gather at a mosque and take part in the ceremony of slaughtering animals. People slaughter oxen, sheep and camels to treat guests and friends and sing and dance and hold sheep glutinning, horse races, "pursuing girls" and other entertainment to celebrate the festival.
